CASE STUDY: APERTO

After taking over a dated Italian restaurant, Aperto’s owners tasked 17/27 with revamping the space to achieve a classy, timeless look aligned with Aperto’s contemporary Italian cuisine. Working within a tight budget, 17/27 creatively transformed the venue, layering subway tile on the lower portion of the bar, restaining the countertop, and adding flat steel and plywood shelving for a modern look. Fresh fixtures, a new wine and merchandising cabinet, and a custom Venetian plaster mural with Italian sayings about food enliven the environment, while savvily sourced furniture delivers a high-end look.
